Lasonja’s Journey to Healthiness for #NWHW
My name is Lasonja Fagin and I’m from Thomaston, GA. Two short years ago, I was squeezing into a size 12 and needing to lose weight to improve my overall health. I had experienced the detrimental effects of my mom being overweight as she battled diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure which eventually led to a major stroke. I saw myself heading in the same direction, but I knew that I wanted to be around for my three sons and my grandchildren.
After thoroughly researching the products offered by Visalus and the Body by Vi Project 10 Challenge, I was impressed with the healthiness of the product and the company’s numerous before and after transformations. Shortly after joining the challenge, I lost my first ten pounds (lose ten and a child wins), and the company donated a bag of Visalus’s nutritional Vi-Shape Shake mix to an obese or at-risk child. That is when I truly realized it was an awesome company that genuinely cared about helping people transform their lives. It is simple. I drink two meal replacement shakes per day, enjoy snacks in between, drink plenty of water and have a sensible meal of choice. Then every other week or so, I celebrate my weight loss achievements and great doctor reports by purchasing a new outfit (in a smaller size of course).
Since using the product and becoming a promoter with the company, I have lost 32 unhealthy pounds, down-sized from a size 12 to size 8, developed personal relationships with complete strangers on the same journey of eradicating obesity, and helped others lose weight, get healthy, and get fit. I am no longer borderline diabetic, my blood sugar levels are regulated, I no longer need to take cholesterol medications. I make better meal choices, and get excited about attending boot camp class and adding exercise to my daily routine! Thanks to Visalus, I am a healthier and happier me!
